UAE Visa Guide 2025: Fees, Requirements & Process
Family Residence Visa (Sponsorship)
- Salary Requirement: Minimum AED 4,000 (or AED 3,000 + Accommodation).
- Documents: Marriage certificate (attested), Birth certificates for children (attested), Tenancy contract (Ejari), Salary certificate.
- Process: Open file → Entry Permit → Medical Test → Emirates ID Application → Visa Stamping.
- Cost: Typically AED 3,000 - 4,000 per person excluding deposits.
Tourist Visa Options
For friends and family visiting Dubai, you can apply for a 30-day or 60-day tourist visa. These can be single or multiple entry. Extensions are possible from within the country for an additional fee.
Golden Visa (10 Years)
Available for investors (property > AED 2M), entrepreneurs, scientists, outstanding students, and skilled professionals (salary > AED 30k/month). It allows self-sponsorship and does not require a local employer.
Important Fines & Overstay Rules
The overstay fine is standardized at AED 50 per day for tourists and residents after the grace period expires. Always renew or exit before your visa validity ends to avoid blacklisting.
