Iftar and suhoor follow the prayer clock
There is no separate iftar timetable: iftar is the moment of Maghrib, and suhoor ends when Fajr begins. In early February the UAE fasting day runs roughly from about 5:40 am to about 6:10 pm, around 12 and a half hours, and shifts by a minute or two each day. The exact minute for your city is on our prayer pages, which follow the official Awqaf UAE methodology:

What changes at work
UAE Labour Law reduces the private-sector working day by two hours during Ramadan, for all employees, fasting or not. Many offices shift to roughly 9am to 3pm, and government hours are announced separately each year. Salaries are not reduced with the shorter hours; if you are asked to work beyond them, normal overtime rules apply. Estimate yours with the UAE salary calculator.
Zakat in Ramadan
Many Muslims choose Ramadan to pay their annual zakat, 2.5 percent on qualifying wealth held one lunar year. Use the zakat calculator to work it out against today's gold-based nisab.
Separately, Zakat al-Fitr is due from every household member before the Eid prayer. The UAE amount is announced each Ramadan by the authorities and has been around AED 25 per person in recent years.
